Letter nine.

Dear Mr. Izzard,

There is nothing worse than a pen pal that never writes! Except maybe rain and cold coffee. Unless it is ice coffee of course. I am sorry for not writing for so long. I have been busy, but not that busy, so I don't really have any excuses. I did start on a letter a while back, to tell you about my magnificent Christmas holiday, but it was just too much stuff to talk about so I wasn't able to finish. Information overload! So I have decided to tell you about my holiday when I think of something in particular that happened, rather than just recap the whole thing at once. But I can tell you that despite its bad reputation, Zimbabwe is a fantastic holiday destination! So what else is new? I have written a long 'to do'-list for 2009, so I won't be running out of stuff to do the first little while. One of the things on my list is to reach expert level in Guitar Hero. Currently I am on medium in most songs. Except Metallica, which is bloody hard! My favorite album at the moment is Death Magnetic, and I just don't get tired of it! I have tickets to the Metallica concert here in Copenhagen in July. They are actually playing five concerts in Copenhagen alone. I was lucky and got tickets to the 5th one. They were all sold out in minutes. Can't wait.

What else is on my list? To learn how to meditate. I haven't yet, but it is still only February. To wake up happy in the mornings. I would say the success rate for this one is about 50/50. Exercise regularly. This one is sort of going okay. Not quite as regularly as I was hoping for, but almost. Learn about nutrition and eat healthy. I eat healthy, but I still don't know enough about nutrition. Learn how to use all my camera settings. I am getting there. Start working for myself. This is a complicated one, but I have actually gotten parts of the way already. The problem with having a 'regular' job is that you get used to the convenience of having a fixed pay-check every month. So letting go and starting on your own is a very big and very scary thing. Especially with the whole financial crisis looming. I must say I am pretty fed up with the whole crisis. If you listen to the news every day, and all you hear is how worried you should be, and how bad everything is, then of course it will happen. Of course, we can't just ignore the whole thing and hope it goes away by itself, but let’s not lose our minds over it either. I think this would be a very good method for dealing with the crisis...

Until next time.
Take care.
