Letter thirteen.

Dear Mr. Izzard,

I have just realised that I have a very busy time ahead of me the rest of this year... And it is starting tonight.

Every year in the beginning of June there is a street festival here in Copenhagen called Distortion. Lots of music, parties and drunk happy people. This year the art group I am part of has been invited to join for a day, so tonight I am exhibiting at Enghave Plads from 16 to 22. So if you are in Copenhagen you know where to find me.

Next thing on my list is a trip to Paris next weekend. Not sure if that qualifies as something that should go on a busy schedule list, since Paris is one of the coolest and prettiest cities in the world, but I'll put it there anyway. Can't wait for it though. It will be such a good weekend.

Then on the 30th of June I am going to see Depeche Mode. Yay! That is, of course, if David Gahan is back on his feet. I keep my fingers crossed, and I really hope he'll recover and his treatment will go as smoothly as it can. Having had cancer myself I know exactly what a terrifying message it is to get, and what a painful process it is to get well again. All the positive energy in the universe is hereby sent your way Mr. Gahan!

Tuesday 28th of July will definitely be one of the highlights of my year... Metallica!! I have never seen them live before, and I managed to get tickets to the very last show they do in Copenhagen. They actually have five concerts in total here, and although it is in a fairly small venue, I think that is quite impressive. But I suppose being an 'almost' Danish band has something to do with it.

A few days later, on the 30th of July we are off to Gothenburg to see U2. I am not such a big U2 fan, but I live with one that is, and they usually have a good show. It will also be nice to go to Gothenburg, I haven't been there for a very long time.

Then in August, the 8th to be exact, I am getting married. Now I suppose that should be listed as one of the highlights of my year as well, but a wedding isn't really a big thing for me. I am not a princess, I don't want a white, fluffy dress, a diamond ring, a pretty ceremony in a pretty church or any of that crap. I want to have a fantastic day with the man I love, and a great party with all my family and friends, where we all can drink ourselves silly and dance on the tables. And that is what we have planned. So if you are in Copenhagen that day, come see us at the City Hall Square at about 11-ish.

September is so far plan-free, but in October there is another concert; Green Day, on Friday the 9th. I like their new album. It took about four times of listening to it before it got to me, but now I like it. My favourite song at the moment is Peacemaker.

November is also so far plan-free, but in December there is another highlight; Eddie Izzard! :) The 18th of December I finally get to see you live at the Malmö/Copenhagen show. I am SO stoked about that. I have heard that it is a great show, friends of ours saw you in the States a while back, so I have very high expectations. No pressure tho! :)

So, that was a little run through of the rest of my year. I have so much to look forward to and I love it! Wouldn't want it any other way.

Stay well. Until next time.
Cheers.
